Welcome to Afritage Travel Group. By accessing or using our website (https://afritagegroup.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, please refrain from using our Website or services.

These Terms outline the legal obligations between Afritage Travel Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the client (“you” or “your”).

  1. Booking Terms

1.1 Reservation and Payments

  • A deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
  • Final payment must be made 60 days before the departure date.
  • Bookings made less than 2 weeks before departure require full payment at the time of booking.

1.2 Confirmation

We will send a confirmation email with your booking details and receipt upon receiving your payment. Please review it carefully and notify us of any discrepancies immediately.

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking:

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure are eligible for a refund minus a $200 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before departure are non-refundable.

2.2 Agency Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters or political instability). In such cases, we will:

  • Offer an alternative trip of equal value, or
  • Provide a full refund.

2.3 No-Show Policy

No refunds will be issued if you fail to arrive at the designated location on time without prior notice.

  1. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events. Afritage Travel Group is not liable for costs incurred due to the lack of insurance coverage.

  1. Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

  • Your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
  • You have obtained any necessary visas or travel permits.
  • You meet health requirements, including vaccinations.

Afritage Travel Group can provide general guidance but is not liable for denied entry due to failure to meet these requirements.

  1. Pricing and Inclusions

5.1 Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in USD – $ unless otherwise specified.
  • Prices include accommodation, meals, transportation, and activities as detailed in your itinerary.
  • Prices do not include personal expenses, gratuities, or optional activities.

5.2 Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to currency fluctuations, government fees, or other factors beyond our control. Clients will be notified of any changes before final payment.

  1. Liability

  • Afritage Travel Group acts as an intermediary between clients and suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators). While we strive for quality and reliability, we are not liable for:
    • Delays, cancellations, or accidents caused by third-party providers.
    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
    • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest).
  1. Changes to Itineraries

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, supplier availability). Alternative arrangements will be made whenever possible.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, images, and logos, is the intellectual property of Afritage Travel Group unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

  1. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we aim to resolve matters amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached:

  • Disputes will be governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA.
  • Any legal proceedings must be filed in the courts of Mecklenburg County.
